History in the streets London

London is a city in the south of England. Its name was Londinium in Roman times, only 45.000 people, about 75 million now. There are places in London with the names of important streets in history:
Trafalgar Square commemorates Battle of Trafalgar. 
Victoria Street commemorates Queen Victoria.
The people of London are called Londoners, or "Cockneys". Famous Londoners include a Charlie Chaplin and Arthur Conan Doyle. Charlie Chaplin is a famous actor. Arthur Conan Doyle is a writer of Sherlock Holmes Stories.
