Lady Gaga

There are lots of blonde pop singers who are popular at the moment. But none of them are quite like Lady Gaga. With her strange name, dance busic and bizzarre look, she says that she is "a performance artist", not just a singer.

Lady Gaga's music is catchy electropop that is great to dance to. She has made two hit albums since 2008, "The Fame" and "The fame Monster". But it's not just Gaga's music that has made her such a global icon... it's her crazy, sometimes shocking, looks. And some people think she looks more like an extra-terrestrial than a singer.

Angelina Jolie plays CIA agent Evelyn Salt in this action- thriller. Agent SAlt has taken on oath to honour and protect her country. But her loyatly is tested when she is accused of being a Russian spy. Salt runs away to tray and prove her innocence.

Robert Pattinson

Fans will do anything for Robert Pattinson, the actor in Twilight trilogy. One girl asked PAttinson what she could do to get his attention. As a joke, he said "Take your clothes off". But it wasn't funny when the girl really started to undress. Be careful what you say to fans in future, Robert!

Titanic

Titanic, the 1997 film by James Cameron, is out in 3D. The story is about Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet), two passengers frin dufferebt sicuak ckasses wgi neet ib the Titanic's first voyage. Rose is a first-class. But then they fall in love. It's an emotional film with a trafic ending.

Roal Dahl

Roald Dahl's parents were from Norway but he was born in Wales in 1916. His father died when he was very young and the family moved to England where Roal was educated. They always spent their summers in Norway and he had very happy memories of his younger days. On leaving school he went to work for the Shell OIl company and then was a pilot in the Air Force during World War II. He had a flying accident and this was wgen he started writing. He became a very successful writer of many short  stories and popular children's books, many of which have been made into films. He died in 1990 at the age of 74.
